Meet the Math Coach

Hi, I'm Polly Wagner, Shutesbury Elementary School's Math Coach. This is my fourth year in the position. One teacher described my work as "Someone who works with classroom teachers developing their skills and math teaching practice. She observes children working on math problems and brings the observations to the children's math discussions. She helps us to see the math in a deeper way." I love listening to children's math ideas.

I work at the school 50% time and additionally provide monthly professional development for the entire staff.
